Bishop Lucey Park Reopening After Major Makeover 🌳
Guess who’s back, Cork? After almost a year of renovations, Bishop Lucey Park is finally reopening its gates on Friday, November 14th! The makeover, part of the Grand Parade Quarter project, opens the park right up to the city centre with new paths, seating, and even an events pavilion and plaza for future gigs and gatherings. There’s also a sleek new tower marking the eastern entrance and better access to the historic city wall.
The cherry on top? The iconic swan fountain has been lovingly restored to its full glory and is ready to make its grand return. The Lord Mayor will officially reopen the park next week - so get ready to step inside and see the transformation for yourself. (Read More)
